Many local people will know of David Charlesworth and his brilliant paintings of local scenes, including the one pictured here of the Midland Railway route at Horns Bridge. The old Lancashire, Derbyshire and East Coast Railway viaduct runs over the main line here.

But David doesn’t just paint railway scenes, as you can see by a further selection of his work below.
If you’d like a chance to meet him and hear about his life and work, head for our June 15th meeting when David will be presenting ‘Living from Art’.
Normal venue (The Olde House, Loundsley Green Road, Newbold), admission prices and start time (7.30pm (doors open 7.15pm)) apply.

You can find a venue location map on our meetings page.
